Attendance Policy

When any Girl Scout is registering for any SU93 event, free or paid, there must be an adult who is on site who agrees to be responsible for her. One adult (such as a troop leader) can be responsible for multiple girls, as long as GSHNJ girl-to-adult ratios are being observed.

What this means in practice:

• Pre-registration is required for all paid events. There will be no more door sales.

• All registration forms have a field for Responsible Adult. That person can be a parent or the troop leader.

• Prior to the event, the event organizer will review the attendance lists for girl-to-adult ratios. If there are not enough adults to supervise the girls who are attending, the troop leader will be responsible for finding additional adults to attend to supervise the girls.
